TaskDock reignites your content, projects and people in Confluence. Click below to explore.

Overview

Don't rely on email, external task systems, or even worse post it notes to move your company's content forward. Confluence becomes the starting point for content creation and communication, as well as the hub for projects and accountability through our inline tasks.

Get contextual; with TaskDock's actions you can pair specific tasks such as commenting, editing a page and uploading attachments to content such as pages, existing comments, or attachments. Ask everyone on your team to review and comment on a page in seconds, track individual progress, and find out when people complete through our notifications.

What our Customers are Saying...

“Our 20 person architectural firm has approximately 75 jobs on the go at any one time. TaskDock provides the management tools needed to quantify the workload across a multi-faceted firm.”
“Overall [with TaskDock] we've derived much better accountability and improved communication channels, quicker review cycles and easier aggregation and analysis of the feedback.“

Inline

TaskDock brings task and project management together with Confluence. Assign tasks on any page then view all your tasks across Confluence from the Dashboard giving you a simple starting point for Confluence.

Additionally, you can track projects by reporting on tasks through our customizable macro based on criteria such as pages, spaces, users, and labels. We realize Confluence's main purpose is content, so TaskDock is there when you need it, but invisible when you don't.

Our admin settings let you fine-tune where we exist even further. Lastly, since we live in Confluence, we also leverage existing data such as users, groups, and privacy so there is that much less to manage.

Actions

A clear call to action is given when you assign task actions specific to Confluence. Examples of this include assigning a team or person to comment on meeting notes, respond to a specific comment, edit a page, upload an attachment, update an existing attachment or add a new page.

When the assignee views the task in TaskDock or email they can click the action link to go directly into the assigned action, or they can view the page, comment, or attachment related to the action.

Email

As an assignee you receive a simple email detailing the task with links to complete the task or even better, you can hit reply and your response will be posted as a comment or your attachment will be uploaded directly to the page depending on the task type. Explore a few email types below.

TaskDock's task and task completion notifications are easily administered with options such as turning specific notifications on or off, including page content in emails, or leveraging a different email server then Confluence.

Follow-up

TaskDock keeps the ball rolling by tracking users actions and automatically marking tasks complete or asking when there is a matching task pending. This lets you focus on your work versus managing your task list. If tasks have multiple assignees you can use our simple task summary pages to track individual assignee progress, see task comments and event history, as well as add or delete assignees.

JIRA

Easily add TaskDock tasks to specific JIRA projects and versions. Our sync supports multiple assignee tasks to make it easy to request feedback, approvals and more from JIRA users. When someone completes the task in either Confluence or JIRA it is updated in both instantly. This gives JIRA users one queue across both systems as well as an easy way to manage content for your JIRA projects. Additionally, adding the Project and Version to tasks in Confluence lets you report on this using the product and version columns in our reporting macro.
